Interview with Mr Imran Agha – COO, Enpower Engineering Company-Hyundai Pakistan
PAGE: Can you tell our readers about your organization ?
Imran Agha: Enpower Engineering Company is part of the CMC group, which is the market leader in local assembled agri diesel engines and OEM packagers of Perkins UK and Bauduin France- powered diesel generators.
The group also deals in Hyundai power products for Pakistan market as their sole distributors dealing in home appliances, lighting, power tools, gardening tools and power generators.
PAGE: What are the most exciting developments you have seen in the company’s products?
Imran Agha: The company started with engines and generators and have diversified into home appliance business this year with a lot of potential in coming years.
PAGE: Tell us about some of the projects you have undertaken in Pakistan.
Imran Agha: We have done NADRA (National Database and Registration Authority) offices power backup and several other projects like TB control centres, Punjab Sports Board, Multan Cardiology, Ganga Ram Hospital, SNGPL, Bank of Punjab.

PAGE: What changes would you like to see in the power generator industry in Pakistan?
Imran Agha: We need to work on alternate and renewable power sources like solar and wind powered power generation.
PAGE: Going forward, what role do you see your organisation playing in the future development of energy sector of Pakistan?
Imran Agha: We are developing the local industries for assembling of all our products currently running three local assemblies including engines, generators, air conditioners. We wish to generate more employment and play bigger role in national development of industries.
PAGE: If we look ten years ahead, what do you hope to have achieved?
Imran Agha: We wish to be the top industrialists focused on exports from Pakistan in engineering sector.
