Frank worked on various positions in the UHU International Sales Department with special focus on North and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa as well as Asia Pacific markets during his 26 years of service for the company.[/box]
In an interview he said Pakistan is a huge market which has become a choice destination for global investors on the back of economic turnaround stemmed from positive policies reflected in improved growth rate as well as stable security situation reflected in the ever increasing air traffic from all corners of the world.
PAGE: WOULD YOU ELABORATE YOUR POINT OF VIEW REGARDING PAKISTAN AS A CHOICE DESTINATION FOR GLOBAL INVESTORS?
FRANK: Actually the time is on the side of Asia region in respect of global investment as the investment in rest of the world especially the developed economies has arrived at a saturation point leaving no space for further investment. That is why I said that time is now on Asia side for economic growth and the countries like Pakistan having huge human resource with over 200 million plus population and enormous natural resources besides strong economic potential all have good reasons to attract global investment in near future.
PAGE: YOUR COMMENTS ON THE MUCH TALKED ABOUT CPEC PROJECTS AND ITS IMPACT ON PAKISTAN ECONOMY?
FRANK: Pakistan is the key link of this conceptual project of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, which is looking forward to engage world’s economies under the flagship of One Belt One Road. This project is bound to change the demography of the region especially with the creation of new economic opportunities with the development of infrastructure, roads, warehouses and energy projects which altogether may do a magic in economic development of Pakistan.
PAGE: THERE IS A GREAT RESPECT FOR GERMANY’S QUALITY PRODUCTS AND BRANDS: LIKE UHU, WHICH IS A HOUSEHOLD ITEM IN PAKISTAN AS IT HAS BECOME A MUST FOR ALL THE SCHOOL GOING CHILDREN TO CARRY UHU STICKS AND OTHER ADHESIVES, WHICH CAN BE TAKEN AS A MATTER OF PRIDE FOR UHU COMPANY, YOUR COMMENTS:
FRANK: Certainly it is a matter of pride, however, there is a good reason behind this great achievement, which our approach to give priority to education, which is the fundamental requirement to build up nations and capacity building of human being, however, our commercial interest is equally important and is also being served sufficiently.
PAGE: WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF YOUR CURRENT VISIT TO PAKISTAN?
FRANK: As an area chief it is my responsibility to keep in touch with all countries, which is our business partners, however, this time the purpose of my visit to Pakistan is to chalk out business plans for next year because it essentially required to upgrade your business activity before it becomes stale to remain in the business.

PAGE: IT IS BELIEVED THAT UHU IS THE MARKET LEADER IN PAKISTAN, YOUR COMMENTS?
FRANK: It really gives a sense of achievement and confidence with the market response to our products in Pakistan, our products not only popular among the student community but there is a huge demand for UHU in fashion designing industry, our products are mandatory in stationary requirement of all the commercial centers, business houses and financial industry, which may give you an idea how our products have penetrated in this market only because of quality and standard.
PAGE: WHAT IS THE MARKET SIZE OF UHU IN PAKISTAN?
FRANK: UHU stands out prominently as the market leader in Pakistan and we can say with a great amount of confidence that we are second to none not only among the school-going kids but it is equally popular among the fashion apparel and embroidery fabric manufacturing in Pakistan market.
PAGE: WHAT IS THE PRODUCTS RANGE OF UHU BEING MARKETED IN PAKISTAN?
FRANK: Since UHU specializes in adhesives its products covered almost all areas where adhesives are used, UHU products like UHU all-purpose adhesive, UHU Glue Stick, UHU Glue pen, UHU U-TAC, UHU Super Glue and UHU Plus Epoxy adhesive are some of the products popular in most of the manufacturing sectors yet the education segment was certainly on top of the list.
