- Examining the advances in medicine and learning brought about by Artificial Intelligence
Artificial intelligence is a hot topic wherever you go artificial intelligence (AI) is the way to go. Since AI is increasing user-friendliness for all types of people, whether professionals or the general public, has led to many innovations around the world
To start off, let’s talk about medicine and healthcare. In this field, AI has transformed the core of operations, saving both time and money. Procedures that once required large incisions can now be performed using lasers, allowing problems to be identified and addressed with precision at the exact location. Cyber knife operations are being performed in the entire world where Pakistan is performing its first cyber knife operation at the Dow Ojha campus in Karachi. Simulation labs are being used by the professors to teach the students about different diseases without using humans as the guinea pig of learning. This simulation lab is being used at Aga Khan University in Karachi.
AI has helped make diagnostic services possible in a much faster and easier way improving patient outcomes. AI has also helped make hospital management and patient interaction easier and more interactive, Moreover, a helping robot in terms of health has been made to reduce mistakes which could otherwise be made by humans and offers 24/7 healthcare.
Furthermore, in the field of education, AI has played a key role in saving a child’s education which plays a keen role in a child’s personality. This can be further by the Covid-19 pandemic due to which education was relied upon computers and AI. Artificial Intelligence also gave us the innovation of chat GPT which allows students to do their assignments with ease, although it does make them lazy. It can mundane tasks and provide personalised learning. Data and learning analytics can help make better decisions. Nevertheless, it does provide special education such as reading a passage to a visually impaired person.
In conclusion, to summarise AI will replace the education and medicine field as now even long and hefty surgeries and other tasks can now be performed based on help from AI.
