India team is participating in the Kabbadi World Cup in Pakistan, confirmed by Secretary-General Kabaddi Federation Rana Sarwar.
“Ten teams are participating in the mega event including India,” said Rana Sarwar while talking to media along with national head coach of kabaddi team Tahir Waheed.
“The preparations are in the final stage of the world cup and the Government of Pakistan has also issued NOCs to the Indian players,” Rana added.
Rana emphasized that President Kabaddi Federation Chaudhry Shafa Hussain is making every effort to make the world cup a successful event.

“For the first time World Cup is happening out of Pakistan and President Kabaddi Federation and Punjab Government is doing everything possible for World Cup,” he maintained.
The head coach Tahir Waheed said that the players are working hard in the training camp in Islamabad, ” All players are working hard and are also fully fit to shine in the mega event. The team will be comprised of senior and talented junior players,” he said.
It must be noted that the tournament will commence in Lahore from February 9 from the matches of the competition that will be held in Lahore, Gujrat, and Faislabad. Defending champions India, Iran, Sierra Leone, England, and USA are in Group A while home team Pakistan, Canada, Kenya, Australia, and Azerbaijan are in Group B.
