Pakistan is the land of my forefathers; they are buried here and become part of our land and every handful of its dust is colored with the blood of ancestors. Independence Day is important indeed. But what is vital is that the vim and vigor of the Independence Day. We need to celebrate our achievements in different areas but a specific domain wish to highlight specifically our country lingers to ache from its international reputation of being an ‘unsafe’ state for the females having no rights to women to participate in development of state and due to repetitive negative portrayal of international media our massive potential has been held back, running gradually in head gear. Still I believe Pakistan as the land of opportunities for women and these wonder women of Pakistan eminently contributes for Pakistan and their work is the reply to all the negative images build by enemies to rotten the image of my beloved country.
Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah (Mother of the Nation) inspired the generations of Pakistani women in securing the rights of women across Pakistan along with Begum Rana Liaquat Ali Khan (first lady of Pakistan), Benazir Bhutto first democratically elected female prime minister of a Muslim country, Bilquis Bano Edhi Pakistan’s most famous social worker and wife of Abdul Satar Edhi also a social worker in Pakistan. For the past 46 years, she is severing the nation and for her noble work Bilquis Edhi was awarded by ‘Hilal-e-Imtiaz’ and ‘Ramon Magsaysay.’ She was also selected for Mother Teresa Memorial International Award-2015 for sheltering Geeta, a deaf and dumb Indian girl who has been in Pakistan under her supervision, and at last safely returned to India. Shaheen Waqar heading Women Aid Trust, the organization that help women in prisons by teaching them different skills and educating them so they may be able to sustain themselves once they return to the real world. Ayesha Farooq Pakistan’s first female fighter pilot is not a woman to be messed around with. Musarrat Misbah a cosmetologist heading Smile Again Foundation under which a rehabilitation center is operating for the victims of acid attack She is the first female to be recognized and awarded by Italian Government on Women’s Day for her diligent work. Today she is successfully running 42 franchises across Pakistan and continues to rehabilitate victimized women. Dr. Shamshad Akhtar a diplomat and intellectual who serves as the Under-Secretary General of the United Nations as the head of UNESCAP, as Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan. In her capacity as Governor, she was also the Chairperson of the Central Bank Board and its affiliates, as well as a Governor of the IMF, Major General Shahida Malik high-ranking 3-star Major General was the first woman Major General in Pakistan.

Roshaneh Zafar is the Founder and Managing Director of the Kashf Foundation. The institution provides financial aid and education to the women working in villages, in order to improve their economic condition. She also work for the World Bank. Mrs. Seema Taher Khan currently heading the Interflow Group’s electronic television channels; TV ONE, News One as the CEO. Kalsoom Lakhani founder of Invest2Innovate, also known as i2i, in 2011. Her startup connects budding entrepreneurs with investors and support, in line with their belief that “entrepreneurs have the power to change the world”. Sheba Najmi working with many countries on a project through an apps and data to re-frame the relationship between local government and citizens and the most important almost every women in rural areas are contributing the economy through their work at farms along with the family members but there is always a room for improvement and we have huge potential to be unlocked over the coming years despite of many problems and hurdles on the way of success we still believe that there are a lot of opportunities for every individual in Pakistan however, problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines.
Despite of all criticism from international media still urges to pull things out of the closet. People out there believe that Pakistan is suffering a lot in different areas such as politics and terrorism but we are of the opinion that all men and women in Pakistan are doing their best to bring good name for Pakistan, specially the courage and resilience of Pakistani women is sparking remarkably.
The article has put some light on the work of inspiring Pakistani women whose innumerable contribution will inshallah transforms the negative image of Pakistan to the positive one because.
We learn from mistakes and work hard to transform the challenges into opportunities so that our upcoming generations will breath in Great Pakistan.
