Even before the economic uncertainty ushered in this past week by U.S. President Donald Trump’s widespread tariffs, many people were already nervous about their financial futures. Data from a Statista Consumer Insights survey shows that four in ten respondents in Canada and Mexico voiced concerns on the topic last year. In the United States, a similar 37 percent of respondents said the same, while in India and China the share of respondents worried about their financial futures was lower, at 27 and 13 percent, respectively.
