Dawood Engineering University holds 9th certificate distribution ceremony

Dawood University of Engineering and Technology’s 9th Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the greenery of Jinnah Campus of Dawood University. The ceremony was presided over by the Chancellor of the University and Governor of Sindh Mr. Imran Ismail while Senator Taj Haider, USAID Deputy Director for Pakistan Dr. Samreen Hussain, members of the Senate and Syndicate were also present. 390 students of Batch-18 Department of Engineering and Batch-17 Department of Architecture at Dawood Engineering University graduated and were conferred degrees in Convocation while Gold and Silver medals were awarded to the winners. Degrees were also awarded to 52 students of MS program at Dawood Engineering University. Rabia Aslam son of Muhammad Aslam, a student of Dawood University’s Department of Petroleum and Gas, won a gold medal in the top position in the university while Rabia Aslam also got the first position in the Faculty of Engineering, Naila son of Afaq Ahsan Usmani in the Faculty of Architecture. And won a gold medal. The students managed to get all the three top positions while the girls also got top positions in 8 out of 9 fields of engineering and in the field of architecture. Silver medals were awarded to 9 students who secured first position in all 9 departments of the university in which Nayela son of Afaq Ahsan Usmani (Department of Architecture), Noor Al-Sahar son of Anjum Khan (Department of Chemical Engineering), Farah Nazim son of Nazimuddin (Department) Computer Systems Engineering), Mahin son of Riaz Ahmed (Department of Electronic Engineering), Nadia Tariq son of Tariq Mahmood (Energy Environmental Engineering), Muhammad Osama son of Muhammad Waseem (Industrial Engineering), Misbah Aslam son of Muhammad Aslam (Department of Metrology and Materials Engineering). Muhammad Aslam (Department of Petroleum Gas Engineering), Noor Saba Sheikh son of Abdul Qadir (Department of Telecommunication Engineering).

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Faizullah Abbasi said that before 2013, it was difficult to conduct regular classes here. Yes, it is gaining top position. My capable team, faculty and staff are behind the excellent environment and visible initiatives and tireless efforts of Dawood University.
